Why not just divide by 365?
Dividing total days by 365 ignores leap years (which have 366 days) and gives a decimal age that doesn't match how people actually state their age. Instead, this calculator counts full years elapsed, then full months within the current year, then the remaining days — borrowing a month or a year when needed, exactly the way you'd count age on your fingers.
