Reporting a wrong result?

These four details are usually the difference between a fix today and a week of back-and-forth:

  • The page address (or just the calculator’s name)
  • The exact values you entered
  • The result the calculator gave you
  • The result you expected, and where that expected figure came from

Common questions

No. Our calculators run entirely in your browser — the numbers you enter are never sent to our server, so there is nothing for us to store. The only information we receive is what you choose to put in a message to us.

Very likely, and requests are a big part of how we decide what to build next. Tell us what you are trying to work out and, if there is an official formula or rule behind it, point us at the source. That single link often decides whether we can build it properly.

Please tell us, and include a link to the current official figure — the tariff order, circular or notification. Rate corrections backed by a source are usually live within a day or two.

We cannot — and we would be doing you a disservice if we tried. Our calculators are for information and planning only, and are not financial, medical, legal or academic advice. For a decision that matters, confirm the figure with your bank, your doctor or your institution. What we can always help with is explaining how a particular calculator arrives at its number.
